Big day today! I'm off to enjoy some Monday night baseball at Dodger Stadium. The team is taking on the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Pirates have been struggling, which can largely be attributed to the early season display (or lack thereof) from Andrew McCutchen, who's batting just .221 (ESPN). The Pirates sit at the bottom of the NL Central.

The Dodgers are second in the NL West in the early season with a record of 18-14. They've looked strong up to this point in the season, with ace Clayton Kershaw leading the charge.

I'm excited to see some baseball in person, as this is the first bit of live action baseball I'll be seeing this season. This will hopefully be an exciting matchup.

Quick update blog post!

The game last night was exciting, but not because of its competitiveness. The dodgers thumped the Dodgers by 11 runs. 12-1 was the final score.

Thanks for the interactions about the game on twitter, I love seeing what you guys think about the game, because seeing things live and on tv are so different.

Happy Friday! As always, last blog of the week. The rest of the articles will be made at home. The oldies know this, but clarification for any new readers.

It's been a long week, as it is every week during this time of year. NBA playoffs, NHL playoffs, NFL draft review, new MLB season, soccer in full swing world wide, the list goes on. I'm trying to grind out as much content as possible for you guys, so I am sorry if there aren't your requested articles as much.
